As I turn the first page, the first thing I notice is just how delicate the artwork seems to be, and excitement comes to turn. Alongside, Templar agent Otso Berg has found a rebel faction within the Templar Order, and soon finds himself questioning where his loyalties lie.įor me, Uprising has a lot to uphold, and I am both excited and terrified to read this comic. A new world is on the horizon, and our main characters are the only ones who have the knowledge and skill to save the current world from subjugation. In the first issue of Uprising, the Phoenix Project is almost complete, and tensions between the Assassin’s Brotherhood and the Templar Order are raising high. Basing in the continuous Assassins vs Templars battle, Uprising is a more modern approach to the battle, and opens its pages for a new look into a battle that has been in the eye of fans for a decade. It’s been many years since I found my love for AC, three years to be exact, and when I found that this comic series existed, I knew I immediately had to jump into it.Īssassin’s Creed: Uprising is an ongoing comic series inspired by the original Assassin’s Creed games, release by Ubisoft. After the Assassin’s Creed film came out earlier this year, I’ve found myself back to immersing myself in the culture of the original game again, collecting comics and books from the series, completely lost to the original context of the game once more.
